DESCRIPTION
796864-5 is a Euro Style terminal block connector designed for PCB mounting applications. This connector is part of TE Connectivity's Euro Style terminal block family, which features various wire termination methods including rising cage clamp, wire protector, spring, IDC, and crimp snap options. The terminal blocks are stackable end-to-end without loss of centerline spacing and feature built-in interlocks on the housings for ease of assembly. High temperature and IR reflow compatible versions are available, and all blocks are supplied with open screws for faster connection times. These connectors are commonly used in industrial control applications where reliable wire-to-board connections are required.
