DESCRIPTION
8-2178711-6 is a 16-position female-on-board Micro-MaTch connector designed for board-to-board and ribbon-to-board interconnect applications. This surface mount connector features a vertical mount angle with top entry housing style and includes polarization for proper mating alignment. The connector utilizes copper alloy contacts with tin over nickel plating in the mating area, housed in a black PA 4.6 GF material body with a 1.27 mm (0.050 in) centerline pitch. It is RoHS and ELV compliant and supports lead-free reflow solder processes up to 260°C. This connector is ideal for printed circuit board applications requiring reliable, compact interconnect solutions in space-constrained designs.
