DESCRIPTION
The 8-968972-1 is a 12-position AMP MCP 2.8 mm receptacle housing designed for the AMP MCP Interconnection System used in automotive electrical and electronic applications. This housing features secondary locking capability, green color coding (Keying Option A), and is constructed from PA 66 GF13 material to ensure durability and reliability in demanding automotive environments. The receptacle accommodates wire sizes up to 2.5 mm² FLR maximum and is designed to mate with corresponding tab housings and PCB headers.
