DESCRIPTION
The THS2510RJ is a 25-watt aluminium housed wire-wound power resistor designed for high-power applications requiring efficient heat dissipation. It features a dissipation rating of 25 watts with heatsink at 25°C and 12.5 watts without heatsink, with a maximum working voltage of 550 V DC or AC RMS and dielectric strength of 2500 V AC peak. The resistor offers excellent stability with 1% maximum resistance change over 1000 hours, a temperature coefficient of 30 ppm/°C for values above 100 O, and standard 5% tolerance. With an insulation resistance of 10,000 MO minimum in dry conditions and a standard heatsink area of 53,500 mm², this resistor is ideal for braking circuits, balancing resistors, capacitor charging/discharging, crowbar protection, and general electrical machinery applications where reliable power dissipation and long-term stability are essential.
