DESCRIPTION
The 1700-S816 is an adjustable delay-on-operate timer from the 1700 series, designed to provide precise timing control with solid-state timing circuits and electromechanical relay output in a hermetically sealed enclosure. This model features 4A-rated contacts in a 2 Form C (DPDT) configuration with DC input capability, adjustable timing range from 50 ms to 240 seconds via external resistor, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The timer incorporates CMOS digital design, delivers a maximum current drain of 150 mA at 28 Vdc, and supports contact ratings of 4A resistive at 30 Vdc and 2A resistive at 115 Vrms. Built to MIL-R-83726 environmental standards with hermetic sealing to 1.3 inches of mercury, the 1700-S816 is ideal for industrial control, instrumentation, and automation applications requiring reliable, adjustable time-delay functionality.
