DESCRIPTION
5-1617542-9 is a double-pole electrically held low-signal relay designed for high-performance applications requiring reliable switching of low-level signals. The relay features a 2 Form C (DPDT) contact arrangement with gold/platinum/palladium/silver plated contacts, supporting contact loads up to 1.0 A at 28 Vdc and 250 mA at 115 Vac. It is hermetically sealed with high shock and vibration ratings (30 G's vibration, 75 G's shock), excellent RF switching capability, and operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C. The relay is qualified to MIL-R-39016/17 and offers mechanical life expectancy of 1 million operations with contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum before life testing. Common applications include aerospace, military, telecommunications, and instrumentation systems where hermetic sealing, high reliability, and low-level signal switching are critical requirements.
