DESCRIPTION
The 6ESB1 is a high-performance RFI power line filter from the SB Series, designed to suppress electromagnetic interference in power distribution applications. This low-leakage model (ESB designation) features a maximum leakage current of 0.22 mA at 120 VAC 60 Hz and 0.36 mA at 250 VAC 50 Hz, meeting stringent requirements for portable equipment and non-patient care medical devices. The filter is rated for 6A continuous current at 250 VAC with operating frequencies of 50/60 Hz, and operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of 0°C to +40°C. It is equipped with four 0.250-inch spade terminals for line and load connections, plus a ground terminal, and includes two 0.188-inch diameter mounting holes for secure installation. The 6ESB1 delivers excellent common-mode attenuation (up to 62 dB at 30 MHz) and differential-mode suppression (up to 72 dB at 30 MHz), making it ideal for industrial equipment, medical devices, and consumer electronics requiring reliable RFI filtering in compact form factors.
