DESCRIPTION
The DT06-12SA-CE05 is a 12-way DEUTSCH DT series plug connector featuring enhanced seal retention design with A-key configuration, gray thermoplastic housing, and integrated latch for mating. The connector accepts contact size 16 rated at 13 amps and accommodates 14–20 AWG (2.50–0.50 mm²) wire gauges, with reduced diameter seals and an end cap for environmental protection. The enhanced interface seal retention design incorporates a groove on the connector housing to secure the interface seal, allowing users to easily replace the seal without replacing the entire connector, thereby reducing downtime and replacement costs. This field-proven design withstands heavy vibration, dirt, chemicals, and water spray, making it ideal for industrial and commercial transportation applications where robust sealed connections are critical. The connector is compatible with the W125-P012 wedgelock for contact alignment and retention, and various accessories including backshells, boots, dust caps, gaskets, and mounting clips are available.
