DESCRIPTION
The HD10-6-12P is a 6-position square flange receptacle connector from the DEUTSCH HD10 Series, designed for industrial and commercial transportation applications requiring robust environmental sealing. This connector features a threaded rear configuration with 12 contact size, supporting wire sizes from 10–14 AWG (5.0–2.0 mm²) with a standard wire sealing range of 0.134–0.170 inches (3.40–4.32 mm) outside diameter. The connector is rated for continuous operation at 25 A maximum at 125°C and is constructed with glass-filled polyamide housing and molded-in copper alloy contacts with nickel plating for corrosion resistance. The HD10-6-12P is commonly used in power distribution, motor control, and battery isolation circuits in vehicles and heavy equipment, where environmental protection and reliable high-current switching are critical. Compatible accessories include backshells rated from -40°C to +134°C, neoprene gaskets for panel mounting, and protective dust caps to maintain environmental seals when unmated.
