DESCRIPTION
The W3S-P012 is a green wedgelock accessory designed for TE Connectivity's DEUTSCH DT 3-way enhanced seal retention connector system. This wedgelock features hooks that hold the interface seal in place from the front and works in conjunction with the connector's groove design to secure the seal, enabling robust attachment and reliable sealing in harsh environments. The wedgelock confirms contact alignment and retention when mated with compatible 3-cavity DT connectors, supporting contact size 16 rated at 13 amps with 14–20 AWG (2.50–0.50 mm²) wire gauges. The enhanced seal retention design allows users to easily replace seals without replacing the entire connector, reducing downtime and replacement costs. This accessory is field-proven for industrial and commercial transportation applications involving heavy vibration, dirt, chemicals, and water spray exposure.
