DESCRIPTION
ABC03O-20S-4048 is a modular in-line composite connector receptacle designed for aerospace, defense, and marine applications. This connector features a lightweight composite shell with five Size 20 socket contacts, orange keying position, and Skydrol hydraulic fluid resistance (modification 4048). The connector incorporates environmentally sealed construction with corrosion and fluid resistance, EMI shielding greater than 40 dB from 100 to 1000 MHz, and a secure quarter-turn locking system. Module dimensions include 1.028 ± 0.010 inches length (A), 0.234 ± 0.005 inches width (B), and 0.865 ± 0.020 inches height (C). The connector supports wire sizes from 24 to 20 AWG with field-serviceable rear-release AS29029 contacts, making it ideal for airframe, navigation, and commercial aerospace interconnection systems where weight savings and environmental sealing are critical.
