DESCRIPTION
The 222D921-25/225-0 is a right-angled, lipped heat-shrinkable boot designed to provide strain relief and mechanical protection between a cable and connector. It is specifically used in applications with a high ratio between the adapter and cable diameters, such as when only a small number of connector contacts are utilized. This boot is constructed from a fluid-resistant elastomer (material -25) and comes pre-coated with S-1125 adhesive (/225) for environmental sealing. Upon recovery, the major entry diameter shrinks from a minimum of 19.3 mm to a maximum of 13.0 mm, and the minor entry diameter shrinks from 6.3 mm to 4.5 mm. It is ideal for use with circular connectors and compatible Raychem backshell adapters in demanding harness systems.
