DESCRIPTION
The FS16-800 is a PC mount power transformer featuring a split bobbin design with dual primary and dual secondary windings. It is designed to operate with either a parallel 115V or a series 230V primary input at 50/60Hz. The dual secondary windings can be wired in series to output 16.0V CT at 0.8A, or in parallel to provide 8.0V at 1.6A. With a maximum power rating of 12.0VA, its split-bobbin, three-flange construction offers low capacitive coupling and eliminates the need for an electrostatic shield. This UL-recognized general-purpose transformer is suitable for a variety of power supply applications requiring flexible input and output configurations.
