DESCRIPTION

5747846-2 is a right-angle posted receptacle connector from TE Connectivity's AMPLIMITE Subminiature D Connector line, featuring 25 contact positions in shell size 3 configuration. The connector is designed for board-lock mounting with threaded inserts and fixed female screwlock options, with dimensions of 2.088 inches (53.04 mm) length (A) and 1.852 inches (47.04 mm) width (B). It incorporates size 20 DF posted socket contacts preloaded in the receptacle, with contact finish plating code A (0.000030 inch gold on mating end, tin on termination end, with nickel underplate). The recommended printed circuit board thickness is 0.062 inches (1.58 mm) for connectors with boardlocks. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable high-density interconnections in compact spaces, such as instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and industrial control equipment where subminiature D-sub connectors are specified.
