DESCRIPTION

The 8451-BLK-100 is a multi-conductor single-pair shielded cable designed for reliable signal transmission in low-voltage applications. It features 22 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors (7x30 stranding) with polypropylene insulation, a paper wrap separator, twisted pair configuration, and a Beldfoil shield providing 100% coverage with a 22 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire, all enclosed in a PVC jacket. The cable operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +75°C with a nominal characteristic impedance of 45 ohms, a velocity of propagation of 66%, and a conductor DC resistance of 14.5 ohms per 1000 feet. With a maximum operating voltage of 300 V RMS and a maximum recommended current of 2.9 amps per conductor at 25°C, this cable is well-suited for instrumentation, control systems, and audio/video signal applications where shielding and twisted-pair configuration are essential for noise rejection and signal integrity.
