DESCRIPTION
The 8451-BLK-1000 is a multi-conductor single-pair shielded cable designed for control, instrumentation, and signal transmission applications. It features 22 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors (7x30 stranding) with polypropylene insulation (0.008 in. wall thickness), a paper wrap, and a twisted pair configuration with 100% Beldfoil aluminum foil-polyester tape shield and 22 AWG tinned copper drain wire. The cable has a PVC jacket (0.020 in. nominal wall thickness) and operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +75°C with a maximum operating voltage of 300 V RMS and maximum recommended current of 2.9 Amps per conductor at 25°C. With a characteristic impedance of 45 Ohms, nominal inductance of 17 µH/ft, and conductor DC resistance of 14.5 Ohm/1000 ft, this cable is ideal for applications requiring reliable signal integrity, shielding, and mechanical durability in industrial control systems, data acquisition, and telecommunications environments.
