DESCRIPTION
The 71-4-L is a Series 71 left-hand aluminum extractor designed for extracting printed circuit boards from electronic enclosures and systems. Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy per QQ-A-250/8 specification, it provides an extraction travel of 11.4 mm minimum with a mechanical advantage of 4.5:1, enabling easy manual extraction of boards. The extractor features an EasyGrasp style handle and weighs 0.05 oz (1.42 g), with standard dimensions including an extractor width of 3.0 mm and a 2.77 mm diameter actuator. Two extractors (one left and one right) are recommended per board for balanced extraction. Optional configurations include a bent leg for compatibility with Lok Tainers for PCB retention in sheet metal applications, and an actuator tab for use with lever-actuated Lok Tainers to facilitate board release.
