DESCRIPTION
The 71-4-R is a Series 71 aluminum extractor designed for extracting printed circuit boards from electronic enclosures. Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy per QQ-A-250/8 specification, this right-hand oriented extractor provides an extraction travel of 11.4 mm (0.45 inches) minimum with a mechanical advantage of 4.5:1, enabling efficient board removal with minimal user effort. The extractor features an extractor width of 3.0 mm (0.12 inches) and weighs 0.05 oz (1.42 g), with dimensional specifications including a 2.77 mm (0.109 inch) diameter pin and various handle configurations. Two extractors per board are recommended (one left and one right orientation) for optimal performance, and the bent leg option is available for compatibility with Lok Tainers for PCB retention in sheet metal applications. This design is ideal for modular electronic systems requiring reliable and repeatable board extraction with ergonomic handling.
