DESCRIPTION
The HS5L-VF7Y4M-G is a 4-contact solenoid-operated interlock switch designed for machine safety and access control. It features a 24V DC solenoid with 200 mA rated current (reduced 25% from conventional HS5E series) and 1200 O coil resistance at 20°C, with pickup voltage at 85% of rated voltage maximum and dropout voltage at 10% of rated voltage minimum. The switch includes door monitor circuits (2NC, 1NO configuration) and lock monitor circuit (1NC) with M20 gland port size, plus an integrated LED indicator (24V DC, 10 mA, green illumination). It operates continuously at rated voltage up to 110% maximum continuous applicable voltage, features Class F insulation, and includes head removal detection circuitry that monitors lock status when the actuator head is removed. Common applications include safety interlocks on hinged doors, sliding doors, and machine access panels where compliance with ISO 14119 safety standards is required.
