DESCRIPTION
100284-1 is a sealed 2-position socket connector housing from the Econoseal EHM Series, designed for automotive applications requiring waterproof protection and rugged construction. The housing is manufactured from PBT material and accommodates 4.0 mm socket contacts with a wire size range of 0.5–4.0 mm², featuring an M27 thread configuration and insulation diameter range of 1.4–3.0 mm. It includes integrated wire seals (Part No. 963243-1 for 1.4–2.1 mm diameter and 963244-1 for 2.2–3.0 mm diameter) and cavity plugs for complete environmental sealing. This connector assembly is ideal for powertrain systems, safety and security systems, and electrical control systems operating under extreme climatic conditions with exposure to moisture, dust, corrosive gases, and liquids.
