DESCRIPTION
SMW239RJT is a surface-mount moulded power resistor from the TE Connectivity SM Series, designed for power circuitry applications requiring low profile construction and reliable performance. The resistor features flexible tinned copper terminations and fully welded construction, enabling it to withstand higher temperatures associated with reflow, vapour phase, and infrared manufacturing processes without degradation. Available in 2, 3, or 5 Watt power ratings with resistance values ranging from 0.1 ohm to 2 megohm, the SMW239RJT offers a resistance tolerance of ±1% or ±5% and operates at maximum voltages up to 500 Volts depending on the case size. The device is flameproof with UL94V0 coating and maintains excellent stability across a temperature coefficient range of ±200 ppm/°C, making it ideal for demanding power applications in industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics where thermal cycling and high-temperature soldering are common.
