DESCRIPTION

120526-1 is a 1.0mm Free Height (IEEE 1386) connector plug designed for board-to-board stacking applications. This connector is used in 64-position configurations with a stacking height of 9 inches [0.354 inches] and is compatible with receptacle 120521-1 when locating posts are used, or with receptacle 120528-1 when a vacuum cover is employed. The connector features improved locating posts that enable fast, accurate hand placement on the board by promoting proper location at both minimum and maximum dimensions of connector material and PCB hole tolerances. Additional clearance during mating increases reliability by allowing registration misalignment and decreasing stresses on solder joints. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable board-to-board interconnections with precise alignment and minimal mechanical stress.
