DESCRIPTION

179228-4 is a 4-position receptacle assembly designed for use in Hybrid Mini-Drawer connector systems. This connector features dimensions of A=6.0 mm, B=8.8 mm, and C=10.0 mm, with a natural-colored thermoplastic housing. The receptacle assembly is part of the ELCON Drawer Series, which supports true hot-plug and blind-mating capabilities for mixed signal and power applications. Compatible contacts include phosphor bronze tin-plated crimp contacts for wire sizes ranging from 26-22 AWG (0.12-0.35 mm²). Common applications include low noise power supplies, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), power factor-correcting (PFC) power supplies, and redundant power systems requiring hot-plug capability.
