DESCRIPTION
292171-4 is a 4-position SMT standard type vertical mount header with locating boss, part of TE Connectivity's AMP CT 2.0 mm pitch connector series. This tin-plated header features solder tabs designed to secure the SMT component onto the PCB and a locating boss to help orient the header during assembly. The connector is rated for 125 V AC with operating currents up to 4 A for 22 AWG wire, and supports wire gauges from 22-30 AWG when used with crimp contacts. It mates with MT housings (173977, 179694) or crimp housings (179228) with contacts, making it suitable for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect applications in digital data networks and general electronics.
