DESCRIPTION
215464-8 is a male-on-board connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch connector family, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections with a 1.27 mm contact centerline spacing. The connector features tin-plated contact design with a positioning spring in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, creating gas-tight connections that are fretting corrosion resistant. The connector is available in multiple position sizes (4 to 20 positions) and is supplied on reel or in box packaging, with standard package quantities of 2500 units per reel or 250 units per box. This male-on-board connector mates with various female-on-board connectors including models 215079, 215460, 188275, 338068, 338069, 338070, and 188431, making it suitable for automation and control applications such as production equipment, robots, motors, control units, and automotive systems including car radios, navigation systems, and dashboard systems.
