DESCRIPTION

338070-8 is an 8-position female-on-board side entry connector with latches, part of the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector system. It features a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) contact spacing and tin-plated contacts designed to provide gas-tight, fretting corrosion resistant connections. The connector supports wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections and is suitable for mass termination of 28 AWG (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) ribbon cable. It mates with male-on-wire connectors (215083), COSI connectors (338095+338096, 338095+338097), male-on-board connectors (215464), and male SMD connectors (338728). Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, car radios, navigation systems, and audio equipment.
