DESCRIPTION

338069-6 is a female-on-board surface mount device (SMD) connector with top entry and latches, part of the TE Connectivity Micro-Match connector family with 1.27 mm contact spacing. The connector features tin-plated contact design and gas-tight connections that prevent fretting corrosion through an additional positioning spring in the female part, which absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. It is designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections and supports 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) with full range of application tooling from hand tools to fully automated equipment. Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots, motors, automotive systems (car radios, navigation systems, dashboard systems), base stations, set-top boxes, and audio equipment.
