DESCRIPTION

338095-6 is a crimp-on snap-in (COSI) connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector family, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnection applications. The connector features a 1.27 mm contact centerline spacing and supports 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08–0.09 mm²) with tin-plated contact design that provides gas-tight connections and fretting corrosion resistance. The design incorporates an additional positioning spring in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, preventing contact spot movement and ensuring reliable long-term performance. This connector is widely used in automation and control applications including production and material handling equipment, robots, motors, control units, automotive systems (car radios, navigation systems, dashboard systems), and consumer electronics (set-top boxes, audio equipment, base stations).
