DESCRIPTION
5208007-2 is an HD-20 all-plastic straight posted connector plug designed for subminiature D connector applications with 15 contact positions. The connector features a flame-retardant thermoplastic housing rated UL 94V-0 with brass pin contacts plated with 0.000030 inches [0.00076 mm] gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end, with a minimum 0.000050 inches [0.00127 mm] nickel underplate. Available with standard 0.120 inch [3.05 mm] mounting holes or threaded inserts, the connector offers post lengths of 0.125 inches [3.18 mm] for 0.062–0.093 inch [1.58–2.36 mm] board thickness or 0.170 inches [4.32 mm] for 0.093–0.125 inch [2.36–3.18 mm] board thickness. This connector is ideal for applications requiring compact, reliable interconnections in industrial equipment, telecommunications, and data acquisition systems where space constraints and environmental protection are important.
