DESCRIPTION

5745058-4 is an HD-20 all-plastic straight posted subminiature D receptacle connector designed for PCB mounting applications. This connector features 25 contact positions (shell size 3) with threaded inserts for secure mounting, and is preloaded with size 20 DF posted socket contacts. The connector has dimensions of 2.095 in (53.21 mm) for dimension A, 1.852 in (47.04 mm) for dimension B, and 0.420 in (10.67 mm) for dimension C, with a post length of 0.125 in (3.18 mm) recommended for PC board thickness of 0.062-0.093 in (1.58-2.36 mm). Contact plating code A features phosphor bronze with 0.000030 in (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end, with 0.000050 in (0.00127 mm) minimum nickel underplating. These connectors are commonly used in data communication, instrumentation, and industrial control applications requiring reliable signal transmission.
