DESCRIPTION

5745074-2 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 all-plastic straight posted D-subminiature plug connector designed for PCB mounting applications. This connector features 37 contact positions (shell size 4) with fixed female screwlocks for secure mating, and utilizes contact plating code A with 0.000030 inch (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end with 0.000050 inch (0.00127 mm) minimum nickel underplating. Key dimensions include A: 2.737 inch (69.52 mm), B: 2.500 inch (63.50 mm), and C: 0.420 inch (10.67 mm). The connector is preloaded with size 20 DF posted pin contacts and is recommended for use with PC board thicknesses of 0.062-0.093 inch (1.58-2.36 mm) for the 0.125 inch post length. It is UL recognized and CSA certified, making it suitable for industrial, telecommunications, and computing applications requiring reliable interconnect solutions.
