DESCRIPTION
5745078-4 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D-connector receptacle designed for secure PCB mounting with fixed female screwlocks. This all-plastic straight posted connector accommodates 25 contact positions and features a shell size of 3 with dimensions of 2.095 inches (53.21 mm) length by 1.852 inches (47.04 mm) width. The connector is equipped with a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) or 0.170 inches (4.32 mm) depending on PCB thickness requirements, and includes contact finish options with either phosphor bronze plated with gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end (Plating Code A), or gold flash on the mating end with tin on the termination end (Plating Code B), both with a minimum 0.000050 inch (0.00127 mm) nickel underplate. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable interconnection in compact spaces, such as instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and industrial control equipment where secure locking and high-density contact arrangements are essential.
