DESCRIPTION
5747140-2 is an HD-20 subminiature D-connector receptacle designed for high-density applications requiring 15 contact positions. This straight posted connector features phosphor bronze contacts with duplex plating: 0.00003 inches (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end, with a minimum 0.00005 inches (0.00127 mm) nickel underplate throughout. The connector has a shell size of 2 with overall dimensions of 1.541 inches (39.14 mm) length and 1.312 inches (33.32 mm) width, with a post length of 0.509 inches (12.93 mm) suitable for PCB board thickness of 0.093 inches (2.36 mm) minimum. This receptacle is preloaded with straight posted ACTION PIN socket contacts and is commonly used in instrumentation, data acquisition, and industrial control applications where reliable high-density interconnection is required.
