DESCRIPTION
The 747140-2 is an AMPLIMITE subminiature D-type receptacle connector featuring 15 contact positions designed for reliable signal transmission in compact applications. It is constructed with a steel front shell (tin plated), a 94V-O rated thermoplastic black housing, and brass threaded inserts, with ACTION PIN contacts made from copper alloy duplex plated with tin-lead and nickel underplating. The connector has standard mounting holes with dimensions of 1.541 inches (39.14 mm) length, 1.312 inches (33.33 mm) width, and 0.509 inches (12.93 mm) depth, suitable for 0.062 inch minimum thick printed circuit boards.
