DESCRIPTION

6-104068-7 is a 100-position double-row through-hole header connector designed for System 50 board-to-board ribbon cable interconnect solutions. The connector features a 0.050" [1.27 mm] pitch with a black thermoplastic housing rated UL 94V-0 for flame resistance. Contacts are constructed from copper alloy with 0.000030" [0.00076 mm] gold plating in the mating area, 0.000150" [0.00381 mm] tin on solder posts, and 0.000050" [0.00127 mm] nickel underplating for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The connector measures 2.630" [66.80 mm] in length (Dimension A) and is RoHS compliant. This header is commonly used in computer systems, telecommunications equipment, and industrial control applications where reliable high-density interconnections are required.
