DESCRIPTION
The 745074-4 is a subminiature D-type connector from TE Connectivity/AMP brand, designed as an all-plastic straight posted connector with fixed screwlocks for secure PC board attachment. This Shell Size 5 connector accommodates 50 contact positions and features a contact finish available in plating codes A and B. The connector dimensions are 2.643 inches (67.13 mm) in length (A), 2.406 inches (61.11 mm) in width (B), 0.527 inches (13.39 mm) in height (C), and a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm), which is recommended for PC board thickness of 0.062–0.093 inches. All plugs are preloaded with size 20 DF posted pin contacts, and the connector is designed to be secured with appropriate hardware to a PC board and/or panel. This configuration is ideal for applications requiring high-density interconnections with reliable mechanical retention in compact spaces.
