DESCRIPTION
The 745254-7 is an AMPLIMITE D-subminiature cable connector featuring a metal shell with tin plating and 94V-0 rated thermoplastic insert designed for reliable connectivity in industrial and commercial environments. This connector accommodates size 20 DF pin contacts in plug configurations and size 20 DF socket contacts in receptacle configurations, with insulation displacement termination supporting solid or stranded wire (maximum 7 strands) ranging from 26–22 AWG. The connector is available with duplex-plated phosphor bronze contacts offering either .000030 gold on the mating end with tin on the termination end (Finish A) or gold flash on the mating end with tin on the termination end (Finish B), both with nickel underplating for enhanced durability. This connector is ideal for industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers, peripherals, and storage systems where secure, cost-effective D-subminiature connectivity is required.
