DESCRIPTION
508-AG11D is a standard DIP socket designed for through-hole mounting applications. It features 8 positions with a 2.54 mm centerline and 7.62 mm row-to-row spacing, utilizing beryllium copper contacts with gold plating on the mating area. The socket offers excellent electrical characteristics including 5,000 MO insulation resistance and 10 mO contact resistance, with a temperature rating up to 125°C. The closed frame design with straight legs and brass/copper sleeve material ensures reliable performance, making it suitable for wave soldering processes up to 265°C. This socket is ideal for IC mounting in various electronic applications requiring dependable connections.
