DESCRIPTION
508-AG11D-LF is an 8-position closed frame DIP socket designed for through-hole mounting of integrated circuits. It features a row-to-row spacing of 7.62 mm (0.300 in) with a 2.54 mm (0.100 in) centerline pitch and vertical mount style. The socket utilizes beryllium copper contacts with gold plating in the mating area and a four-fingered contact design for reliable connections. The thermoplastic polyester housing is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. This RoHS/ELV compliant socket is wave solder capable up to 265°C, making it suitable for lead-free assembly processes in various electronic applications.
