DESCRIPTION

The 120524-1 is an 84-position free height (FH) connector receptacle designed for 1.0mm pitch board-to-board interconnections per IEEE 1386 standards. This receptacle features improved locating posts that enable fast and accurate hand placement on the printed circuit board by promoting proper location across both minimum and maximum dimensions of connector material and PCB hole tolerances. The connector is available in stacking heights of 14 mm (0.561 inches) and 15 mm (0.591 inches), providing flexibility for various board-to-board spacing requirements. The design includes additional clearance during mating to increase reliability by allowing registration misalignment and decreasing stresses on solder joints.
