DESCRIPTION

1241374-2 is a standard receptacle contact (SRC) for the AMP MCP 1.5K Multiple Contact Point connector system, engineered for automotive powertrain, safety, and body systems applications. This contact accommodates wire sizes of 0.5–1.0 mm² with an insulation diameter range of 1.4–2.1 mm and features CuNiSi material with selective gold plating (-2 finish). The contact exhibits a contact resistance of =2 mO in the new state, with mating and unmating forces not exceeding 6 N, and supports up to 100 mating cycles when gold plated. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C (gold plated), this contact is supplied in strip form with a package quantity of 8,000 units and is compatible with applicator x-1528195-x and hand tool 2063524-1, making it suitable for high-reliability automotive interconnection systems requiring robust electrical performance.
