DESCRIPTION
The 1-338168-2 is a right-angle posted subminiature D connector plug designed for European standard footprint PCB applications with 9 contact positions. It features a tin-plated steel front shell with black glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flame retardancy, and includes 4-40 threaded insert mating hardware for secure board mounting. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with 0.76 µm gold plating in the contact area, supporting a current rating of 6 A maximum with an insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum and dielectric strength of 1000 V AC minimum.
