DESCRIPTION
The 173977-4 is a Hybrid Mini-Drawer cable-mounted receptacle connector assembly designed for true hot-plug, blind-mating mixed signal and power interconnections. This 4-position connector features sequenced contacts for "mate-first-break-last" operation and is constructed with a UL94-0 rated 66 nylon housing in natural white color. The connector accommodates both power and signal contacts with flexible termination options including crimp and PCB tail configurations, supporting wire sizes from AWG #28-26 (0.08-0.15 mm²) for signal contacts and AWG #24 (0.20-0.22 mm²) for power contacts. The assembly dimensions are 6.0 mm (A), 8.8 mm (B), and 10.0 mm (C), providing a compact form factor suitable for space-constrained applications. This connector is ideal for low-noise power supplies, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), power factor-correcting (PFC) power supplies, and redundant (N+1) power systems requiring reliable hot-plug capability and high durability.
