DESCRIPTION

The 3-794618-8 is a double-row surface-mount header connector designed for the Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system, supporting 2-24 position configurations on a 3.0mm centerline pitch. This header features SMT (surface-mount technology) compatibility with multiple hold-down options including SMT hold-down, plastic hold-down, and metal hold-down provisions, along with retention bumps on the solder tail for secure board mounting. The connector accommodates wire sizes from 30-26 AWG (0.05-0.15mm²) to 22-18 AWG (0.3-0.9mm²) with insulation diameters up to 2.79mm, and supports a maximum current rating of 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC.
