DESCRIPTION
745074-2 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D-connector receptacle designed for straight posted connector applications with fixed female screwlocks. This receptacle accommodates 37 contact positions and features a high-profile shell with dimensions of 2.737 inches (69.52 mm) length and 2.500 inches (63.50 mm) width. The connector is equipped with phosphor bronze contacts plated with gold flash on the mating end and tin on the termination end, with a minimum 0.00127 inch (0.00127 mm) nickel underplate for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The receptacle supports post lengths of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) for standard PCB thicknesses of 0.062–0.093 inches (1.58–2.36 mm) or 0.170 inches (4.32 mm) for thicker boards. This connector is ideal for applications requiring secure, reliable interconnections in compact spaces, such as industrial equipment, telecommunications, and military systems where subminiature D-connectors are standard.
