DESCRIPTION
770673-1 is an HDM (Hand-Held Applicator) applicator tool designed for installing Universal MATE-N-LOK socket contacts. This tool is specifically configured for wire sizes in the 30-26 AWG range (0.5-1.2 mm²) with insulation diameter range of 0.032-0.057 inches (0.813-1.45 mm). The applicator works with brass pre-tinned socket contacts and phosphor bronze gold-plated socket contacts, providing reliable and consistent contact crimping. It is used in assembly operations for wire-to-board connector applications, particularly in home appliances and power circuit applications where the 5.0 mm Power Key Connector system is employed.
