DESCRIPTION
8-338168-2 is a 9-position AMPLIMITE subminiature D-Sub plug connector designed for right-angle PCB mounting with solder termination. This connector features a European standard footprint configuration without boardlocks and includes 4-40 screwlocks for secure mating. The front shell is constructed from tin-plated steel with a black glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. Key electrical specifications include a current rating of 6A maximum, insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum, dielectric strength of 1000V AC minimum, and contact area plating of 0.76µm gold.
