DESCRIPTION

1-188275-8 is an 18-position female-on-board surface mount device (SMD) connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch connector family. It features a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) contact spacing and tin-plated contacts designed to prevent fretting corrosion through an additional positioning spring in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. The connector provides gas-tight connections and is suitable for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. It mates with male connectors including 215083, 338095+338096, 338095+338097, 215464, and 338728. Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, car radios, navigation systems, and audio equipment.
