DESCRIPTION

1-338095-8 is a crimp-on snap-in (COSI) connector designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections within TE Connectivity's Micro-MaTch modular connector system featuring 1.27 mm contact spacing. The connector supports 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) with tin-plated contact design and gas-tight connections that provide fretting corrosion resistance through a positioning spring mechanism that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. Available in multiple position sizes (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 positions) with box packaging, this connector mates with female-on-board connectors (215079, 215460, 188275, 338068, 338069, 338070, 188431) and male-on-board connectors (215464, 338728). The COSI connector is ideal for automation and control applications including production equipment, robots, motors, heating units, automotive systems, and telecommunications infrastructure where reliable, compact interconnections are required.
