DESCRIPTION

8-215460-8 is a female-on-board side entry connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector system, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. This 8-position connector features a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) contact centerline spacing with tin-plated contacts that provide gas tight, fretting corrosion resistant connections. The connector design incorporates an additional positioning spring in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. It is compatible with 28 AWG (0.08-0.09 mm²) ribbon cable and mates with male connectors including 215083, 338095+338096, 338095+338097, 215464, and 338728. Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, car radios, navigation systems, and audio equipment.
